Job Description
Frontend React Engineer building reusable, high-performance interfaces with React.js. Collaborating on product experiences, testing, debugging, and maintainable frontend architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers
- Collaborate with product team and back-end developers to define and implement innovative product, visual, and user-experience solutions
- Write and maintain test cases to ensure code robustness and reliability
- Debug and fix issues reported in the production environment
- Keep up-to-date with the latest React.js trends and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5-6 years of experience in React.js development
- Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Familiarity with newer ECMAScript specifications
- Experience with data structure libraries
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with other teams
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
