Job Description
Node.js Software Engineer building scalable enterprise applications for 3Pillar’s AI transformation clients. Developing microservices, React interfaces, and reliable notification and offline-action workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations
- Craft efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, high-quality client code
- Participate in planning and estimation using project methods and tools
- Gather requirements and organize and present developed features for clients
- Execute complex activities within methodology and quality standards across diverse engagements
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate problems, and iterate on solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities
- Participate in the Engineering Practice community and mentor others through Communities of Practice or project teams
- Drive project delivery within defined architecture from conceptualization through deployment
- Code and ship user-facing and operator capability blocks across Phase 1 releases, including onboarding pipelines, coach roster views, attendance sheets, and club admin dashboards
- Translate design tokens and wireframes into pixel-perfect layouts within responsive web, iOS, or Android component libraries
- Implement idempotent reminder triggers and event-driven scheduled tasks tracking Push, SMS, and WhatsApp delivery receipts without duplication
- Build client-side view models that queue user mutations using unique idempotency keys for degraded connectivity
- Maintain metadata records of project modifications and update technical artifact contexts and repository documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise
- Expertise in NodeJs (primary), React, React Native, mobile app experience, Docker, and Postgres
- Proven experience developing microservices and setting up local environments
- Proven track record designing, developing, and implementing React UI/.Net-based large-volume, high-availability enterprise applications
- Experience with exception handling, data structures, multi-threaded programming, memory management, and application tuning
- Strong NodeJs/TypeScript microservices development using Express Framework, type-orm, and class-validator
- Excellent exposure to unit testing with Jest
- Good knowledge of design patterns
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS such as Oracle/SQLServer; ability to write data structures and basic SQL queries; knowledge of joins, views, GROUP BY, and HAVING clauses
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies
- Expertise applying Object-Oriented Programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation
- High-level design proficiency following UML, C4, or ArchiMate
- Experience creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems
- Practice and initiative mentoring other engineers and decision-makers
- Good understanding of SOLID principles
- Familiarity with OWASP
- Proficiency in the English language
