Job Description
Software Engineer extending Vestlane’s digital KYC/AML platform for asset and fund managers. Building Angular/Kotlin features, MongoDB services, and public APIs end to end.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and operate new features using TypeScript/Angular, Spring/Kotlin, and MongoDB
- Maintain mission-critical components of the existing platform
- Deliver work end to end, from collaborating on specifications to verification
- Extend the mobile-friendly web app, low-code workflow engine, and public APIs
- Work across the platform, from UI components to public APIs
Requirements:
- 4+ years in software development
- Strong in at least one of Angular/TypeScript or Spring/Kotlin; eager to pick up the missing one
- Good judgement in engineering and product
- Ability to take accountability for delivered work end to end, from requirements to validation
- Fluent English
- Experience with continuous integration, trunk-based development, and comprehensive testing
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Clear and concise written communication for specs, messages, and PR descriptions
- Proactive communication, including sharing progress, flagging risks early, and asking when unsure
- Ability to use AI as an accelerator while retaining accountability for shipped work
