Job Description
Software Engineer building scalable software for Workiva’s AI-powered finance, risk, and sustainability platform. Collaborating on code, reviews, and product improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop innovative software solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable, performant, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive peer feedback
- Explore new technologies and techniques to enhance products and processes
- Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative work environment
- Gain knowledge and practical understanding of Workiva technical standards and methods
- Apply professional principles, techniques, and procedures in the assigned discipline area
- Begin taking ownership of assigned activities
Requirements:
- 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability
- Curiosity and a growth mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for team and corporate meetings
- Reliable internet access when working remotely
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
- Workiva will not provide visa sponsorship for this position
