Job Description
Software Engineering Intern developing technology for First American’s real estate title and closing business. Collaborating on features, code quality, testing, and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers
- Propose ideas, implement solutions, experiment, and launch features for First American’s users and customers
- Influence engineers, teams, and product managers across the organization
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle
- Follow sustainable engineering best practices
- Deliver high-quality code, documentation, testing, and monitoring
- Gain hands-on experience with software engineering technologies and industry-standard tools
- Potentially present an internship project at Intern Expo Day
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited university
- Must be majoring in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- Prior exposure to best practices through hackathons, design challenges, university projects, or previous internships
