Job Description
Solutions Architect designing technical solutions and overseeing technology support for Cabot Corporation. Delivering initiatives, lifecycle planning, and Level 3 support across APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design technical solutions to solve business problems
- Support and oversee Technical Specialists’ work
- Provide input and support for project planning and cost estimates
- Deliver technical initiatives
- Participate in technical evaluation, vendor management, and standard-setting processes
- Provide highest-level internal support and maintenance for assigned technology (Level 3)
- Create and maintain technical documentation for operation and support of assigned technology
- Participate in lifecycle planning, including recommending upgrades, deployments, and retirements
- Support implementation and maintenance of the Responsible Care® Management System in line with RC14001® requirements, as applicable to the site/region
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience in related technologies required
- 7–10+ years of experience in a technical area
- Demonstrated competence as a technical specialist
- Highest levels of certification in specialty area
- Ability to participate in defining technical environments, standards, methodologies, and processes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to define quality assurance and testing protocols
- Ability to develop and deliver solutions while providing direction, oversight, and support
- Ability to work within a team environment and guide and support other technical professionals
- Maintains highest level of competence and/or certification in specific technical areas
