Job Description
Solutions Architect designing solar, storage, EV, and clean-energy programs for RecruitGo’s global clients. Translating RFPs and client requirements into practical technical and operational solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze RFPs, solicitations, and client requirements to identify technical and operational needs
- Design program-level solutions for distributed energy resources, solar and battery storage, electric vehicle programs, and EV charging infrastructure
- Develop program delivery models covering staffing structures, operational workflows, technology requirements, incentive/rebate processing, and customer/program support processes
- Develop technical approaches addressing client requirements and measurable outcomes
- Identify opportunities for technical differentiation and develop solution concepts
- Collaborate with finance and program teams to develop scope and pricing inputs
- Ensure technical solutions align with proposed budgets and implementation requirements
- Work with subject matter experts to validate technical approaches
- Work with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of services to clients and that client expectations are met
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in solution development, program design, engineering, energy, infrastructure, or utility-related environments
- Working knowledge of solar/DER
- Working knowledge of solar and battery storage
- Working knowledge of electric vehicles
- Working knowledge of EV charging infrastructure
- Experience designing large-scale programs or operational solutions
- Understanding of clean energy and sustainability concepts
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical program solutions
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with U.S. government or utility programs preferred
- Experience with state, municipal, or utility procurement preferred
- Experience at firms such as Arcadis, WSP, AECOM, Stantec, Black & Veatch, Tetra Tech, ICF, or Guidehouse preferred
- Experience supporting proposal pricing or budget development preferred
- PMP, CAPM, or CF APMP preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
