Job Description
Solutions Consultant connecting transit-agency needs with Masabi’s fare-payment platform. Developing bids, demos, discovery workshops and delivery-ready solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Business Development to develop solution strategy and relationships that help win business in the focus market
- Connect transit agency needs with Masabi’s fare collection platform to solve real problems
- Shape solutions demonstrating the benefits of Masabi’s open platform and its differentiation
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders early in the sales cycle
- Run demonstrations that bring solutions to life
- Contribute to bids by showing how the product meets requirements and identifying gaps
- Work with Product and Engineering to put genuine product gaps onto the roadmap
- Translate agreed solutions into Statements of Work and commercial documentation
- Support handover into Delivery after deals are won
- Run pre- and post-sale discovery workshops
- Align stakeholders on solution design from RFP response through detailed design for complex solutions
- Help Product, Engineering and PMO understand implementation requirements
- Feed agency insights back to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap
Requirements:
- Applicants must be based in the UK and hold current right to work in the UK
- Experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering or a product-focused role
- Familiarity with APIs, data models and integration flows
- Experience contributing to RFPs, SoWs or structured procurement responses
- Ability to guide different stakeholders through complex topics and reach practical answers
- Experience with enterprise or public-sector customers in complex environments such as transit, mobility, govtech or fintech
- Ability to weigh commercial, technical and delivery considerations together when shaping a solution
- Clear communication and ability to adapt explanations to different audiences
- Ability to work across teams and handle incomplete information
- Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environments is nice to have
- Experience with partner integrations involving third-party hardware or SaaS platforms is nice to have
- Experience in another regulated, tender-led sector is nice to have
- Experience improving documentation, diagrams or enablement material for partners and new hires is nice to have
- Professional experience using AI tools is not required; experimentation with AI tools and curiosity about their use are expected
