Job Description
Solutions Engineer translating customer business needs into VertiGIS Studio and Esri GIS solutions. Building demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and delivering technical presales presentations and training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and product expertise to the sales team, prospective customers, and partners during the sales process
- Create and showcase VertiGIS Studio demonstration solutions
- Develop and maintain an enterprise-level demonstration environment including VertiGIS Studio and Esri technologies
- Coordinate resolution of technical and product issues during the sales process
- Work with customers and partners to maximize the benefits of VertiGIS Studio technology
- Translate prospect business requirements into architecture and design specifications aligned with VertiGIS and Esri implementation strategies
- Define and craft proof-of-concept applications based on prospective customer requirements
- Support and deliver presentations, training, and workshops at marketing events
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop internal and external product solution marketing resources
- Work with the product team to identify and position key capabilities
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of VertiGIS Studio products and their value proposition
- Educate sales and partner staff on the business value of VertiGIS Studio and GIS-enabled architecture and solutions
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a similar or related role
- Experience/aptitude for Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Presales with a software company
- Experience working with key stakeholders throughout an organization including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Professional Services
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to present information well to various audiences
- Business analysis or solution architecture experience
- Understanding of geography, GIS, and Esri technology
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Diploma/degree in computer science, software engineering, geomatics, business administration, or related discipline would be an asset
- Development experience using VertiGIS Studio technology would be an asset
- Some travel may be required for this role
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America
