Job Description

Stability and Documentation Manager overseeing testing, specifications, and audit-ready records for Grüns’ nutrient-dense gummy nutrition products. Partnering with labs, Quality, Operations, and co-manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the stability testing program for the gummy portfolio, including protocols, timepoints, result tracking against shelf-life targets, and data presentations
  • Determine whether proposed or existing test methods are appropriate for specific matrices
  • Negotiate price and scope with third-party testing labs
  • Review and maintain the document suite for every SKU, including specs and SFPs
  • Stage product specifications from draft through final sign-off
  • Identify stability and documentation issues before they become launch or quality problems
  • Collect and review formulation and ingredient documents for assessment
  • Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and co-manufacturers to maintain consistency across the supply chain
  • Maintain a complete paper trail for SKU histories
  • Report to the Director, R&D within the Product organization

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in R&D, quality, or product development in supplements, food, or a similar regulated category
  • Ideally, gummy or confectionery experience
  • Designed and run stability studies, including validating test methods for complex matrices
  • Knowledge of gummy chemistry, detection limits, matrix interference, and extraction methods
  • Experience negotiating with contract testing labs on price, scope, or turnaround
  • Experience owning specifications end to end and signing off on them
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, co-manufacturers, and outside labs
