Job Description

IT Infrastructure Analyst managing infrastructure planning and financial analysis in a regulated medical device environment. Collaborating remotely while ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in planning & organizing, financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management.
  • Coordinate, develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts for IT infrastructure investments.
  • Monitor and report on ROI for infrastructure initiatives.
  • Lead meetings, strategic workshops and planning sessions.
  • Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT infrastructure performance.
  • Assess and select third-party vendors for hardware, software, and managed services.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data integrity issues, and system downtime.
  • Oversee the implementation of infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure planning, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or regulated industry (medical device experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record in financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management.
  • High level knowledge of IT infrastructure components (e.g., virtualization, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure, networking, storage solutions).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP (e.g., Oracle EBS).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and system reliability planning.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate remotely with technical teams, executives, and external vendors via virtual platforms.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
