Job Description
Staff Mobile Security Engineer securing MrBeast’s large-scale mobile media, gaming, and fintech experiences. Owning device integrity, fraud defense, and security engineering team growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own device and session integrity, including attestation, session enforcement, and authentication hardening across native mobile clients and backends
- Design and run abuse and fraud detection/enforcement systems against adaptive bad actors across consumer and fintech surfaces
- Define the multi-quarter security roadmap for account integrity and abuse defense
- Balance user trust, growth, and risk
- Lead and grow a team of mobile and backend engineers
- Set the technical bar, review designs, and mentor engineers
- Write production code and establish technical direction
Requirements:
- 8 to 10+ years in security engineering, with deep experience defending consumer-scale mobile products against account takeover, bot abuse, and fraud
- Proven ownership of an end-to-end security domain, including roadmap, team, and outcomes
- Strong systems design experience building server-authoritative detection pipelines, attestation systems, or similar adversarial-facing infrastructure at scale
- Hands-on experience across native mobile (iOS/Android) client internals and distributed backend services
- Proficiency in Go or similar on a major cloud provider; AWS preferred
- Experience leading engineers formally or as a tech lead across disciplines
