Job Description

RCM Analyst responsible for developing and maintaining reports and analyzing KPIs in healthcare revenue cycle management. Collaborating with management to provide actionable insights and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal teams and customers.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret KPIs related to revenue cycle management, including variance analysis, cash flow trends, denial trends, compliance risks, and operational efficiencies.
  • Create facility type specific report deck that is scalable.
  • Produce monthly KPI reporting.
  • Provide QA with weekly/monthly Analytics reports.
  • Identify and investigate data anomalies, revenue loss, and compliance risks, recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to optimize data-driven decision-making and enhance business intelligence capabilities.
  • Support managers and supervisors by providing detailed insights into financial performance and operational trends.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, including automation strategies to enhance revenue cycle processes.
  • Maintain data integrity (ensure alignment/normalization across all systems).

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Experienced in healthcare revenue cycle management, insurance billing, or financial analysis. Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience in process optimization and automation impact analysis.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to track actioned insights.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management KPIs and financial analytics. Experience working with healthcare billing systems, payer policies, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to present data findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI and data visualization tools. Proficient in Behavior Health Vertical Billing Software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and interdependently in a remote team environment.
