Job Description
Intern in software engineering tackling complex technical challenges at E2 Consulting Engineers. Applying physics and computer science for utility and construction engineering workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Apply principles of physical mechanics and spatial geometry to train and refine AI models designed to analyze construction as-builts and infrastructure components
- Assist the software engineering team in translating the physical properties and constraints of utilities into structured algorithmic logic
- Test model data validation that cross-referenced sample data and real validations to assist in model training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the software's data capture workflows reliably represent complex physical environments
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- A combined academic background in both Physics and Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Foundational experience with programming and scripting
- An interest in AI, computer vision, or data analysis
- A proven ability to break down complex physical concepts and translate them into structured, efficient computational solutions
