Job Description
EPD & LCA Intern supporting One Click LCA’s sustainability SaaS resources. Contributing to LCA and EPD documentation that helps decarbonize construction and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal resources, including templates and constructions
- Build checklists, external-facing guidance documents, and FAQs
- Assist with reference cross-checks, data collection, and quality checks for LCA- and EPD-related content
- Support consultants with research, formatting, and administrative tasks tied to EPD projects and deliverables
- Identify gaps or outdated information in existing resources and propose improvements
- Collaborate with team members across time zones and incorporate feedback to improve resource quality and usability
- Contribute to One Click LCA’s mission of helping construction and manufacturing leaders reduce environmental impact
Requirements:
- Current university student or recent graduate in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Materials Science, or a related field
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is strictly required
- Basic foundational knowledge or strong interest in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), or decarbonization of the built environment
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Structured thinking
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly
- Comfortable working with databases and documentation platforms
- Ability to learn new software rapidly
- Prior familiarity with LCA standards (e.g., EN 15804, ISO 14040/44, ISO 14025, TRACI, or CML) is nice to have but not strictly required
- Academic or practical experience with LCA software tools is nice to have but not strictly required
- Basic understanding of building materials and manufacturing supply chains is nice to have but not strictly required
