Job Description
Systems Implementation & Training Consultant responsible for project delivery and training users. Fully remote role based in United States, requiring travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver improvements, efficiencies and standardization in project delivery and implementation
- Work closely within the DMI team to deliver projects and implementations
- Ensure detailed training/commissioning plan is created and communicated to customers after site survey
- Perform site surveys
- Install and implement software solutions
- Train high-level and low-level users on how to set up and use systems
- Support the team communicating projects to customers
- Create successful workflows with both customers and colleagues delivering MIS services
- Assist in systems commissioning with electrical engineers to prove software & hardware solutions are working correctly and as scoped
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field
- Two years of experience in a related position in the print and/or packaging industries
- Experience performing implementation/training
- Experience with Project Management
- Experience working in a ‘technical’ production process environment
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Management Information Systems (MIS), and Software Development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically to various unanticipated employer and client locations up to 40%
