Job Description

Talent Acquisition Partner owning Finance recruiting for Stord’s commerce-enablement technology and fulfillment platform. Building pipelines, assessing candidates, and partnering with Finance leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for Finance and other SG&A roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close
  • Build and execute creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search, professional associations/networks, and referrals
  • Partner with Finance hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and build scalable hiring plans
  • Deliver a thoughtful, transparent, and fast-moving candidate experience
  • Represent Stord as a brand ambassador throughout the recruiting process
  • Develop fluency in accounting, finance, and business operations to assess technical depth, business judgment, and role fit
  • Track pipeline health, conversion metrics, and time-to-fill
  • Provide market intelligence on compensation trends, competitor movement, and talent availability
  • Refine interview processes, scorecards, and workflows to reduce time-to-hire while maintaining a high talent bar
  • Collaborate with People Ops, Compensation, and other Talent Acquisition Partners on consistent, equitable, and compliant hiring practices

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on Finance and/or Accounting hiring
  • Demonstrated success recruiting Accountants, Controllers, or Finance Managers
  • Strong sourcing skills, including advanced Boolean/X-ray search and passive candidate outreach
  • Ability to engage Finance stakeholders and translate role requirements into sourcing and screening strategies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing a high-volume, multi-requisition pipeline in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proficiency with an ATS such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing extensions
  • Data-driven approach to recruiting, including tracking and reporting pipeline metrics
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Bonus: Previous in-house recruiting experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up
  • Bonus: Experience recruiting for Corporate Finance or Accounting teams
  • Bonus: Background or working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, or corporate finance concepts
  • Bonus: Experience partnering with Finance leadership on headcount planning
  • Bonus: Previous logistics, supply chain, or commerce/e-commerce industry experience
  • Bonus: Experience building employer branding or talent marketing initiatives
