Job Description
Technical Delivery Manager delivering technology products and enterprise implementations for START’s oncology clinical research operations. Managing requirements, stakeholders, delivery teams, testing, and go-live execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full delivery lifecycle for assigned products and implementations from requirements gathering through launch and initial post-go-live support
- Engage with clinical, operations, and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Develop and maintain project plans, delivery timelines, and status reports
- Coordinate with technology teams, vendors, and implementation partners on scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Track and communicate project progress, risks, and issues
- Escalate blockers and cross-team dependencies to the Sr. Director of Business Relationship and Delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and complete user acceptance testing (UAT) before go-live
- Obtain stakeholder sign-off on deliverables
- Support change management and adoption activities, including training coordination, user communications, and documentation
- Produce dashboards, metrics, and status updates for stakeholder review
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to product and delivery standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, IT project management, or technology delivery
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements and managing backlogs in a cross-functional environment
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in creating status reports, dashboards, and project documentation
- Experience with project and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms
- Experience in clinical research, oncology, life sciences, or a regulated healthcare environment preferred
- CBAP, CSPO, or equivalent certification preferred
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or other process improvement certification preferred
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Approximately 80% of time spent sitting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing healthcare environment and meet demanding deadlines
