Job Description
Technical Leader providing leadership in application engineering for Gas Turbine upgrades. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success and ensure quality and safety in service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Review scope, evaluate risks, and lead technical discussions as part of Pre-ITO to ITO (R1) and ITO-OTR hand off (R3)
- Assign the incoming CM&U proposals to the appropriate team members based on workload and technical ability
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for a team of ITO engineers to help drive Gas Power services growth for complex gas upgrades
- Collaborate with the interfacing teams like Sales, Commercial managers, Project managers, Regional ITO teams and design engineering teams, in reviewing the opportunity / contract needs and to evaluate risks
- Provide technical direction to interfacing teams as required, so as to achieve the business KPIs and objectives of the project / contract
- Lead various initiatives, process improvements, continuous improvement, kaizens / PSRs aimed to drive measurable improvement focused in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC) for Gas Turbine Services upgrade proposals
- Promote professional growth through timely performance feedback, coaching and mentoring of team members
- Support team members both domestically and globally
- Own and manage KPI's/metrics unique to the complex upgrades space through daily management to foster business growth and margin enhancement
- Lead the daily management of the ITO KPIs, support team to meet ITO KPIs and conduct Lean PSR, if the KPIs are off the target
- Demonstrate autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework and lead other application engineers
- Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited University
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering
- Willingness to travel internationally
