Job Description
Technology Solutions Manager designing systems and infrastructure for PuzzleHR. Leading agile sprints, vendor solutions, analytics, and SOC 2 compliance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Advise, consult, guide, and design systems and infrastructure used by company staff
- Work directly with leadership stakeholders at all levels
- Administer and lead the sprint-based program driving prioritized development projects for internal and vendor-supplied systems
- Consult with business leader stakeholders to understand current and future needs based on business direction
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, business unit colleagues, and vendors to architect effective solutions
- Act as primary liaison with key company vendors and optimize use of their solutions
- Assist with administration and management of the Agile Sprint program, including leading the cross-functional team and tracking/reporting sprint results
- Guide software development and data analysis/reporting work by engineer technologists
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Consult with and guide Technologists on solution ideas, technology knowledge, and systems perspective
- Leverage reporting and analytics tools to manage internal systems
- Participate in company policy creation and maintenance and SOC 2 compliance activities
- Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies, industry trends, developments, and best practices
- Participate in handling and resolution of tickets related to supported areas and other areas as required
Requirements:
- Broad-based technology knowledge including database structure/design, development, ITSM support programs, agile process, IT support systems, cyber security, and A.I.
- Ability to meet with business unit leaders to discover needs and innovate creative solutions to business problems
- Systems and design thinking proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations in an agile environment
- Self-driven lifelong learner focused on advancing personal skills and abilities
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Ability to work successfully independently and in a team setting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications/experience in a relevant technology field required
- Experience with automation software and AI technology
- Certifications for job-relevant technologies preferred
- Knowledge of and/or experience in SQL, VB, Python, PowerShell, etc. preferred
- Experience designing and developing APIs preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings
