Job Description

Territory Manager growing Halter’s virtual-fencing business across Queensland beef operations. Managing sales, onboarding, customer success, and regional agricultural relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and customer success within the designated territory
  • Execute sales strategies and meet ambitious growth targets
  • Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
  • Source new leads through outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound queries, and other channels
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through close
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
  • Maintain customer relationships and address product-related challenges
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and deployment
  • Manage territory relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
  • Assist with the end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment experience
  • Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
  • Collaborate with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate problems as needed

Requirements:

  • Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
  • Experience building post-sales value and upselling to grow partnerships
  • Beef industry experience, or deep passion for beef operations and willingness to learn farm operations rapidly
  • Ability to manage a large territory with balanced focus on sales and customer success
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Frequent travel within the territory to engage with customers and prospects
  • Proactive, hands-on approach
  • Ability to submit a cover letter and CV
