Job Description
Territory Manager driving Halter’s virtual fencing sales and customer success across Wagga Wagga. Managing prospecting, contracts, onboarding, territory relationships, and farmer feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and ensure customer success within the designated territory
- Execute sales strategies and meet ambitious growth targets
- Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
- Source new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound queries, and other channels
- Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through close
- Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
- Maintain close customer relationships after the sale and address customer challenges
- Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and product deployment
- Own the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment
- Manage territory relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
- Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
- Collaborate with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate problems as needed
Requirements:
- Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
- Experience building post-sales value and upselling to grow partnerships
- Beef industry experience, or deep passion for beef operations and willingness to learn farm operations rapidly
- Ability to use critical thinking to manage a large territory with balanced focus on sales and customer success
- Resourceful and quick-thinking problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Frequent travel within the territory to engage with customers and prospects
- Ability to work anywhere in the Wagga Wagga Region of New South Wales
- Legal work authorisation to work in the relevant country
