Job Description
Territory Manager growing Halter’s virtual-fencing business among North Western Victoria beef farmers. Managing sales, onboarding, customer success, and field feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and customer success within the designated territory
- Execute sales strategies and meet ambitious growth targets
- Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
- Source new leads through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound queries, and other channels
- Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close
- Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
- Maintain close customer relationships after the sale
- Provide customer support and address product-related challenges
- Ensure smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and deployment
- Own the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment
- Build relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
- Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
- Escalate and resolve customer issues in partnership with the Support Team
Requirements:
- Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
- Experience with post-sales value building and upselling to grow partnerships
- Beef industry experience, or deep passion for and willingness to rapidly learn farm operations
- Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking and balancing sales with customer success
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory
- Ability to work in North Western Victoria
- Legal work authorisation to work in the relevant country
