Job Description
Territory Manager growing Halter’s virtual-fencing business among Northern Tablelands beef farmers. Managing sales, onboarding, customer success, and field feedback from Walgett or Moree.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and customer success within the designated territory
- Execute sales strategies and meet ambitious growth targets
- Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
- Source new leads through outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound queries
- Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through close
- Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
- Maintain customer relationships and ensure ongoing satisfaction
- Provide support and address customer challenges
- Ensure smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and Halter deployment
- Own the end-to-end onboarding and deployment experience
- Build relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
- Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
- Partner with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate problems as needed
Requirements:
- Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
- Experience building post-sales value and upselling to grow partnerships
- Beef industry experience, or deep passion for beef operations and willingness to learn farm operations rapidly
- Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking and balancing sales with customer success
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking in addressing challenges
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory
- Must be based in Walgett or Moree
- Legal work authorisation to work in Australia
