Job Description

Territory Manager selling FUJIFILM Sonosite portable ultrasound systems across Houston. Developing medical-device sales through consultative selling, demonstrations, networking, and physician relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Create primary market demand for FUJIFILM Sonosite products through networking, cold calling, and educating users
  • Persuade users, departments, and institutions about the value of Sonosite hand-carried compact ultrasound systems and tools
  • Provide insights into customer product usage and value definitions
  • Guide the company in maximizing customer value and eliminating wasteful activities
  • Promote, demonstrate, and sell hand-carried ultrasound systems within the assigned territory
  • Manage relationships with key physicians and influential institutions
  • Follow up on sales leads in the territory
  • Generate sales opportunities through cold calling and promotional activities
  • Manage new and existing client relationships using a CRM tool
  • Maintain sales records and comply with expense budgets
  • Manage inventory and company property according to company policies
  • Promote educational programs to develop sales leads
  • Attend trade shows anywhere as directed by management
  • Use strategic and consultative sales techniques to develop sales opportunities
  • Prospect, qualify, and understand customer needs to provide timely, efficient, and coordinated product demonstrations
  • Represent FUJIFILM Sonosite professionally and collaborate through a team-selling approach

Requirements:

  • Previous medical equipment sales experience
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in medical device sales
  • Experience calling on physicians, managers, clinicians, and administrators in ED, CCU, OR, Radiology, etc.
  • Background in new market development
  • Experience managing a high volume of capital equipment sales opportunities
  • Consistent history in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Previous history of working independently out of home
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to travel some weekends
  • Ultrasound sales experience preferred
  • Ability to prospect, qualify, and develop or understand customer needs
  • Ability to perform at a very high level against company performance metrics, such as growth and revenue
  • Proven ability to qualify sales opportunities efficiently and effectively to close deals
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt sales strategies and techniques across multiple medical specialties and sales environments
  • Ability to sell effectively and professionally in a rapidly changing and competitive sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to convey ideas verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in an organized manner and meet customer and company time requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a team selling approach
  • Ability to lift and manage company property per company policies
  • BA or BS in business administration, health care administration, or life sciences preferred
