Job Description
Transaction Advisory Services Intern conducting financial due diligence for Citrin Cooperman’s private equity and corporate clients. Building Excel data packs and financial models for M&A transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity clients and corporate acquirers/sellers
- Prepare Excel data packs
- Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies
- Perform financial modeling related to mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions
- Conduct industry research for engagements
- Assist with planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up activities
- Apply TAS Best Practices to ensure consistent quality of service and work product
- Assist with preparing redacted Excel data packs and written reports
- Assist with preparing business development materials
Requirements:
- Be a junior or a year prior to graduation pursuing an accounting, business administration, economics, finance or equivalent degree
- CPA or in progress
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated teamwork
- Ability to work independently, but also work well with others
- Ability to effectively prioritize
