Job Description
Data center construction company seeking bilingual project manager for nationwide structured cabling projects. Leading crews, installations, quality control, scheduling, and customer coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Travel nationwide to support active data center construction projects
- Manage multiple crews performing structured cabling and infrastructure installations
- Coordinate daily activities with customers, superintendents, and project stakeholders
- Oversee fiber optic and copper structured cabling installations
- Oversee rack and stack installations
- Oversee basket tray and ladder rack systems
- Oversee overhead cable pathways
- Oversee cable management systems
- Oversee patch panels and cabinet build-outs
- Oversee general low-voltage infrastructure
- Monitor project schedules, manpower, and production goals
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure installations meet customer specifications
- Review blueprints, floor plans, cable schedules, and project drawings
- Resolve field issues and communicate project updates to management
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
- Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and onboarding of field technicians
- Travel to projects as needed to support mobilization, production, and closeout activities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing data center or mission-critical construction projects
- Strong background in structured cabling
- Strong background in fiber optics
- Strong background in rack and stack
- Strong background in basket tray installation
- Strong background in ladder rack systems
- Strong background in cable routing and management
- Strong background in data center infrastructure
- Experience supervising field technicians and subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Ability to travel 100% nationwide
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to fly regularly
- Bilingual Spanish/English
