Job Description
Manager focusing on expanding partnerships with Tribal communities for Kambo's clean energy programs. Duties involve community engagement, trust-building, and program development aligned with community needs.
Responsibilities:
- Own expanding Kambo’s partnerships with Tribal communities and organizations across the U.S. West Coast.
- Focused on community engagement and relationship-building, helping support Tribal Nations access benefits of efficiency and clean energy programs.
- Play a critical role in identifying opportunities, building trust with stakeholders, and supporting development of programs that align with community priorities.
- Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with Tribal communities, organizations, and leadership across the U.S. West Coast.
- Lead community outreach and engagement efforts in a respectful, responsive manner.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in community engagement, relationship-building, partnerships, outreach, program coordination, or related work.
- Demonstrated experience working with Tribal communities, organizations, or governments, or lived experience within Tribal communities.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse groups and settings.
- Ability to listen deeply, navigate conversations with cultural awareness and humility, and build relationships over time.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment while staying organized and accountable.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-community engagement and relationship-building.
