Job Description
Utility Invoice Analyst researching urgent utility invoices and emergency payments for TEOCO, an innovation-focused technology company. Documenting financial activity and coordinating vendors remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Research and make payment on invoices that arrived too late for normal workflow processing
- Research and pay urgent past-due notices and high-priority issues that could jeopardize service continuity
- Document payment activity using internal TEOCO systems for accurate financial governance
- Use client systems to gather data supporting decision-making
- Analyze collected data to determine whether emergency payment is required
- Conduct vendor/supplier outreach and collaborate with internal teams
- Perform root cause analysis and incorporate lessons learned from past incidents
Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Ability to work remotely
- Ability to work 11AM–8PM Eastern Time
- Past experience in the utility industry helpful
- Experience with MS Excel helpful
