Job Description
VP of Engineering overseeing execution, delivery, and leadership development at NetBox Labs. Focused on AI-native engineering practices and operational systems.
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day engineering execution, including delivery and people development
- Lead engineering directors and shape team operational practices
- Create systems for planning, release coordination, and cross-team execution
- Manage quality and operational discipline, including CI/CD and testing
- Develop hiring and performance management strategies with CTO
Requirements:
- 3+ years in scaled engineering leadership (40–100 engineers)
- Pragmatic operator able to make progress with incomplete information
- Track record of execution: shipped products and improved systems
- Infrastructure/platform fluency to engage engineers
- Experience developing and holding managers accountable
- Hands-on with AI-assisted development and tooling
