Job Description
Vice President leading Medicare insurance distribution strategy, agent recruitment, and sales growth for AmeriLife. Ensuring CMS compliance and strengthening carrier and stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and expand distribution channels for a Medicare-focused Field Marketing Organization
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance agent recruitment, training, retention, and overall distribution performance
- Ensure distribution activities comply with regulatory requirements and company objectives
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to grow market share and achieve revenue goals
- Identify emerging opportunities within the Medicare market and create actionable plans
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of insurance agents and Medicare-specializing agencies
- Establish agent development programs to enhance performance and compliance
- Drive sales initiatives for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans enrollment
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Collaborate with compliance teams to manage audits and reduce risk exposure
- Build and manage a high-performing distribution team
- Provide mentorship and leadership to regional sales directors and other team members
- Cultivate relationships with carrier partners and key stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape
Requirements:
- Experience developing and implementing distribution strategies
- Knowledge of the Medicare market
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training insurance agents and agencies specializing in Medicare products
- Experience establishing agent development programs
- Experience driving sales for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans
- Ability to monitor performance metrics and meet or exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and ability to ensure compliance
- Experience collaborating with compliance teams on audits and risk management
- Experience building and managing high-performing distribution teams
- Ability to provide mentorship and leadership to regional sales directors and team members
- Experience cultivating relationships with carrier partners and key stakeholders
- Background screening, including employment verification, education verification, criminal history check, and other job-related inquiries, may be required
