Job Description

Enterprise sales VP helping LPL Financial, a wealth management firm, grow institutional partnerships with banks and credit unions. Leading complex B2B opportunities from pipeline development through due diligence and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with community banks and credit unions regarding their entire wealth management business, including retail, trust, and RIA
  • Sell into large opportunities and work with prospects through the due diligence process
  • Lead coordination and execution with program management and internal stakeholders
  • Develop, feed, and close a robust pipeline of self-sourced and warm opportunities
  • Use a consultative B2B sales process to support growth in the institutional space across TPM/BD, trust, and unified wealth offerings
  • Track opportunities and activity in Salesforce, Outlook, and other tools
  • Maintain expert awareness of the competitive TPM/BD landscape and trust marketplace
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to strategize and develop winning solutions
  • Prioritize daily activities around the highest-gain opportunities
  • Apply client, partner, and prospect feedback to iterate offerings
  • Use market data to identify opportunities, influence capability development, and inform marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of extensive experience working in the wealth management industry
  • High level of proficiency in the bank, credit union, and/or trust space
  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 25-50%)
  • Refined presentation skills and demonstrated success selling into the C-Suite of banks, credit unions, or similar organizations
  • Familiarity with business considerations for retail wealth management, retail banking, advisor businesses, and trust services, including regulatory compliance, technology, and service experience
  • Strong familiarity with the MS Office suite and Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to succeed within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to navigate and close complex B2B sales opportunities
  • Familiarity with the LPL Financial value proposition for financial institutions and core technology
  • Familiarity with contracting with financial institutions
  • Understanding of differences between banks and credit unions
  • Existing network of senior wealth leaders or executives in community bank and credit union markets
