Job Description
VP of Engineering transforming and scaling engineering organization in compliance tech platform. Partnering with executive team to align technical strategy with business growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Transform and scale engineering organization into a predictable, elite execution engine
- Partner with product leadership to align technical capacity with product prioritization
- Direct major enterprise initiatives, including modernization of the legacy codebase
- Drive successful adoption of AI-assisted tooling across engineering and quality assurance teams
- Transition the quality assurance framework from manual to automated testing
- Optimize capacity allocation for innovation and ongoing maintenance
- Deliver comprehensive codebase refactoring within specified timeframes
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of progressive software engineering experience
- 4 or more years in a senior engineering leadership role
- Proven track record leading and scaling engineering organizations in a B2B SaaS company
- Experience partnering at the executive level to translate technical strategy into business outcomes
- Experience owning and managing an engineering P&L
- Proven experience leading large-scale legacy modernization efforts
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tooling
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated QA frameworks, and metrics programs
- Exceptional strategic capability and change leadership skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
