Job Description
Wealth Solutions Consultant driving AssetMark’s Private Wealth and investment solutions adoption among independent financial advisors. Managing territory growth through consultative sales, advisor relationships, and wealth strategy support.
Responsibilities:
- Drive adoption of AssetMark’s Private Wealth offering and other Wealth Solutions capabilities within a defined territory
- Partner with financial advisors to develop customized investment portfolios and wealth management strategies for HNW and UHNW clients
- Engage advisors through in-person meetings, virtual presentations, and industry events
- Promote the Private Wealth program and internally managed investment and wealth solutions
- Support portfolio construction and wealth strategy, including tax-aware investing and planning
- Collaborate with AssetMark sales teams to identify, develop, and advance opportunities
- Develop new advisor relationships through proactive external sales activity
- Maintain relationships with existing Private Wealth and Wealth Solutions users
- Own and execute a territory business plan
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities through the sales cycle
- Represent AssetMark Wealth Solutions at advisor events, conferences, and client meetings
- Work with Advanced Planning, Client Portfolio Managers, and Investment Strategy teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Provide market feedback on advisor needs, competitive positioning, and product opportunities
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory
Requirements:
- 5–7+ years of experience in external sales, wholesaling, or advisor-facing roles within asset or wealth management
- Experience selling investment solutions to financial advisors required
- Experience working with independent financial advisors (RIA and/or broker-dealer channels) preferred
- Exposure to high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth client segments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, CFP, CAIA, or similar professional designation preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or ability to obtain) required
- Strong understanding of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and private market strategies
- Ability to communicate complex investment and wealth concepts clearly and practically
- Experience engaging with financial advisors and supporting high-net-worth client needs
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
- Ability to manage a territory and prioritize activities effectively
- Proven presentation skills in small and large group settings
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and functions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Must reside within the supported territory: Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, or Oregon
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
