Job Description
Web Engineer building scalable infrastructure for Valon’s AI-native mortgage-servicing platform. Designing regulated-finance systems and shaping customer experiences with Product and Design.
Responsibilities:
- Learn new concepts and technologies quickly and apply them to challenging problems
- Design and build robust, extensible infrastructure to handle evolving and complex federal, state, and agency regulations
- Develop a deep understanding of the highly complex mortgage servicing industry
- Work with Product and Design to define the best customer experience
Requirements:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience building quality software applications at scale
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally to balance product and technical requirements
- Ability to build scalable systems from scratch with a fast turnaround
- Experience with web application development, mobile application development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management
- Time management skills for a fast-paced startup environment
