Job Description
Workato Developer building enterprise integrations and automations across cloud applications and databases. Designing recipes, managing data flows, and optimizing integrations for business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy complex recipes and integrations using the Workato platform
- Integrate enterprise applications including Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, Jira, Slack, and REST/SOAP APIs
- Handle data transformations, error handling, and logging within Workato recipes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions
- Monitor existing integrations, troubleshoot failures, and optimize recipes for performance and scalability
- Follow best practices for workspace management, role-based access control, and secure credential handling
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of professional IT experience
- At least 1.5 to 2 years dedicated to the Workato platform
- Current Workato Automation Pro certification (Level 1 and Level 2) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and webhooks
- Basic SQL knowledge for querying and managing data during integration tasks
- Strong analytical skills to debug recipe errors and design efficient error-handling frameworks
- Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with global teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
