Job Description
Workforce Analytics Manager leading predictive workforce planning and analytics at First American, a title insurance and real estate services company. Delivering executive insights through Power BI, Excel, and workforce data.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Workforce Analytics function
- Enable workforce planning and deliver forward-looking insights supporting strategic workforce decisions
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand priorities, workforce challenges, and future talent needs
- Define and prioritize workforce questions and deliver actionable insights
- Develop analytical frameworks and tools connecting business strategy with people strategy
- Integrate workforce, financial, operational, and market data
- Evaluate workforce and organizational trends to improve organizational effectiveness, capacity, and capability
- Deliver executive-ready insights through recommendations, visualizations, and data storytelling
- Establish workforce planning priorities, methodologies, standards, and operating rhythm
- Lead senior-level business and HR partnerships to validate findings and shape recommendations
- Build workforce planning frameworks assessing role requirements, capacity, capabilities, talent risks, and internal pipeline
- Coordinate actions across HR Business Partners, Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Development, and Talent Acquisition
- Track workforce planning decisions, actions, outcomes, and impact
- Expand predictive insights and decision-support tools
- Establish repeatable analytics methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Evaluate and apply emerging technologies to improve analytical efficiency and workforce insights
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in workforce analytics, people analytics, business analytics, finance, workforce planning, or a related analytical field
- 3+ years of experience leading employees, complex projects, or strategic initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel
- Experience using analytics to solve business or workforce challenges and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Knowledge of workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, workforce supply and demand, scenario planning, and talent trends
- Business and financial acumen applied to workforce questions involving cost, capacity, productivity, organizational capability, investment, and future talent needs
- Experience applying workforce analytics, forecasting, trend analysis, scenario modeling, and workforce metrics
- Ability to identify leading indicators and anticipate workforce risks, opportunities, and future needs
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to integrate multiple sources of workforce and business data
- Strong communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills
- Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority and build trusted partnerships across a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, build or strengthen organizational capabilities, and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when working with sensitive employee and workforce information
- Experience with workforce analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, data visualization technologies, and statistical analysis
- Working knowledge of HR information systems and workforce data structures
- Familiarity with emerging technologies that may improve workforce insights and analytical efficiency
- Workday experience, Workday reporting and analytics knowledge, and experience developing analytical frameworks or tools are preferred but not required
