Job Description

Writer-Analyst creating technical research reports and marketing content for technology enterprises. Analyzing benchmark data and spreadsheets to develop persuasive technical narratives and visual assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Write technical research reports using test data to support a marketing story
  • Analyze complex spreadsheets, published benchmark data, research findings, and other information sources to identify insights
  • Extract relevant data points and translate them into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives for technical and marketing audiences
  • Collaborate with strategists, analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to create persuasive written and visual assets
  • Acquire expertise in high-tech subjects and supporting data and transfer it to written deliverables and occasional supporting graphics
  • Work as part of a cross-functional, multi-purpose team
  • Deliver drafts on time according to a schedule you help define
  • Prioritize multiple tasks, work under minimal or remote supervision, provide frequent status updates, and juggle multiple projects

Requirements:

  • Experience writing or supporting B2B messaging and positioning
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex spreadsheets, reports, research data, or benchmark results and identify relevant findings for a target audience
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to connect meaningful data points to broader business or technical stories
  • Excellent math skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to create charts and visualizations in spreadsheets or other software
  • Experience using data to strengthen content
  • Technology-content experience is a strong plus, including datacenter infrastructure, cloud service providers, or software ecosystems
  • Proven ability to quickly grasp new technologies, understand supporting data, and identify key audience insights
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, incomplete source materials, and evolving client direction while maintaining accuracy and clarity
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Must provide 3–4 relevant writing samples
  • Collaboration with team members in the Pacific time zone required
