🌐Unveiling Remote Patient Intervention and a New Era of Clinical AI 🚀 At UpDoc, we are introducing a new care delivery model-- Remote Patient Intervention (RPI)-- defined as when an AI acts on Remote Patient Monitoring data to deliver clinical care.

RPI was conducted for the first time in patients in a Stanford clinical trial published in JAMA Network Open where the term was coined.

Through RPI, UpDoc aims to transform how care is practiced to truly improve healthcare quality and reduce costs for our patients.

By accompanying clinical visits with physician-supervised “AI encounters”, our aim is to not only scale the most expensive part of the healthcare delivery system-- the provider-- but also improve quality, speed, and convenience for patients.

In the Stanford MIVA Trial, RPI resulted in 5X more clinical delivery with the same labor while simultaneously improving medication adherence by 65% and chronic disease control by 3X.
