Job Description

Account Coordinator expanding Wildsam's independent retail network and wholesale partnerships. Driving direct-to-consumer book sales, fulfillment logistics, inventory, and channel performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, nurture, and expand Wildsam's network of approximately 2,000 independent retail partners
  • Manage wholesale partnerships and high-profile brand collaborations
  • Drive direct-to-consumer digital sales strategy
  • Oversee end-to-end fulfillment logistics
  • Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities in wholesale and DTC markets
  • Plan launch strategies for new Wildsam titles
  • Collaborate with operational and creative teams on ongoing marketing of 70+ titles
  • Expand the Wildsam wholesale network
  • Drive sales targets across wholesale and DTC channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with wholesale accounts across the United States
  • Own the end-to-end wholesale order lifecycle and establish protocols to improve customer experience and fulfillment accuracy
  • Track sales performance and report on sales trends, order frequency, inventory levels, and new account acquisition
  • Oversee the website, email channels, and brand partner strategies for the DTC channel
  • Increase online sales, improve conversion rates, and optimize customer experiences
  • Direct DTC marketing strategies, campaigns, and channel investments
  • Forecast monthly and annual DTC sales targets and report on performance
  • Lead and optimize logistics and inventory strategy, including stock management and reordering
  • Identify operational improvements in order management, account management, and customer service
  • Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment

Requirements:

  • Experience managing and growing a large retail partner network of approximately 2,000 accounts
  • Experience building relationships with independent bookstores and specialty retailers
  • Experience liaising with major brand and sponsorship partners
  • Background in driving website sales and optimizing conversion funnels
  • Experience managing email/social marketing collaborations
  • Experience setting DTC sales targets
  • Hands-on knowledge of order management lifecycles, stock level management, forecasting, inventory reordering, and external 3PL/fulfillment vendor management
  • Proficiency in tracking sales KPIs, order frequency, acquisition metrics, inventory turnover, and channel performance reporting
  • Deep alignment with culture, travel, and book publishing
  • Passion for independent retail ecosystems
  • Ability to independently craft launch strategies for 70+ book titles while executing daily fulfillment workflows
  • Comfort interfacing directly with senior leadership across creative, editorial, marketing, and operations
  • Capacity to manage back-end logistics and customer service workflows without letting operational quality slip
