Job Description

Account Development Representative generating qualified pipeline for Workiva’s AI-powered finance, risk, and sustainability platform. Prospecting Fortune 1000 accounts and partnering with Account Executives to drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Research target accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information through people mapping and value pyramids
  • Prospect into Fortune 1000 accounts through strategic networking, email, e-marketing, campaigns, and social outreach
  • Qualify leads and contacts to transition meaningful sales leads into the pipeline through outbound hunting
  • Learn and demonstrate the Workiva platform and articulate its capabilities and advantages to decision makers and influencers
  • Understand global personas in Financial Transformation, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Sustainability Reporting
  • Drive attendance to webinars, roadshows, Amplify, conferences, and other events; provide post-event follow-up
  • Create unique territory events that result in Qualified Pipeline
  • Maintain current product offering and competitive market knowledge
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop engagement strategies for customer and prospect accounts and drive revenue goals
  • Meet or exceed quarterly opportunity, revenue, and activity goals
  • Engage existing customers and non-customers to increase interest in additional Workiva platform uses by understanding initiatives and pain points
  • Support sales-cycle functions including forecasting, reporting, CRM maintenance, correspondence, and communications

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Sales Development
  • Experience in a SaaS Sales environment preferred
  • Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanour
  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity and effectively manage competing priorities
  • Proven track record of creating revenue-generating opportunities and quota attainment
  • Proven ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
  • Capable of learning, developing, and integrating skills in an online training environment
  • Up to 10% travel
