Job Description

Account Director driving new business and strategic client growth for IntelliSurvey’s online market research platform. Building partnerships, closing research-services sales, and expanding existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development through networks, referrals, industry relationships, and proactive outreach
  • Identify, qualify, and close new client opportunities
  • Expand relationships within existing accounts
  • Build trusted partnerships with executive-level decision makers
  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for key clients
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, client retention, and long-term partnership success
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Recommend IntelliSurvey's full-service research and technology solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Research Operations, and Delivery teams on customized proposals, presentations, and client solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations and contribute to pricing strategies and proposal development
  • Ensure successful project delivery and proactively manage client expectations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, account activity, and opportunity tracking in the CRM
  • Mentor and support Account Managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field
  • Seven or more years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or consultative sales within the market research, insights, or SaaS industries
  • Demonstrated success generating new business, exceeding revenue targets, and growing strategic client relationships
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans that drive measurable business results
  • Strong background negotiating contracts, pricing, and complex client agreements
  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage sales pipelines and client relationships
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Successful completion of a background check
