Job Description
Account Executive selling Air Methods’ critical-care air medical transportation services in Massachusetts. Growing healthcare-provider relationships, territory revenue, and patient transport volume through strategic sales development.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Air Methods air medical services to targeted customers in the sales area
- Achieve annual Air Methods KPIs
- Cultivate opportunities to sell value-added services
- Provide updates on business opportunities and competitive market intelligence
- Develop territory business strategies to grow existing accounts
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, hospital service-line changes, billing rates, and aircraft types
- Coordinate customer service recovery
- Monitor daily patient transport activity and volume trends
- Manage ordering and distribution of marketing items
- Attend conferences and regulatory meetings and participate in local government affairs
- Coordinate daily activities and Outreach Education programs with other Air Methods disciplines
- Ensure internal customers understand business development strategies and have marketing resources and talking points
Requirements:
- Must live within the region
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, three to five years related aviation or medical transportation experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three to five years of sales experience
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare and air medical industries
- Experience in medical transportation services or healthcare business development/sales preferred
- High emotional intelligence
- Self-starter with competitive spirit
- Ability to work independently
- Strong critical-thinking, reasoning, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Sales skills including meeting sales goals, closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, product knowledge, presentation, and client relationships
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with mapping software
- No certificates, licenses, or registrations required
- Regular attendance is an essential function
- Must follow Air Methods employment practices and policies

- Competitive annual base salary of $75,000 to $110,000
