Job Description

Strategic Account Executive expanding F100 relationships and revenue for Docker’s developer tooling platform. Driving account strategy, sales growth, forecasting, and complex contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic clients
  • Act as the main point of contact and advocate for client needs within Docker
  • Understand key client needs and requirements
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with client business goals
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas by identifying and closing business opportunities
  • Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and client feedback
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams
  • Provide accurate forecasts and track key account metrics
  • Report account and transaction status and monitor sales performance against goals
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for clients and Docker
  • Establish KPIs, pursue new business, cross-sell and upsell, and gather client feedback
  • Drive strategic account growth, deepen stakeholder relationships, and implement process improvements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience selling to large, complex F100 businesses
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience preferably in a similar industry or role
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at executive and C-level levels
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Ability to manage multiple account management projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Training in Command of the Message and MEDDPICC is an above-and-beyond qualification
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where applying
  • Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role
