Job Description

Account Executive leading enterprise sales of Smile Digital Health’s FHIR-based healthcare data platform. Managing prospecting, negotiations, deal closure, and account growth across the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full end-to-end sales cycle
  • Develop and manage sales and account management strategies
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth in assigned territory and accounts
  • Generate new sales leads through networking, prospecting, cold calling, and company marketing/public relations activities
  • Lead target account selling, including qualification, scoping, closing strategies, and negotiations
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders and understand business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated customer challenges and roadblocks
  • Develop and present business reviews for client program performance
  • Oversee and drive contract negotiations
  • Ensure client expectations and deliverables are met
  • Review sales, end-user performance, and requirements to develop contract-growth plans
  • Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive product adoption
  • Maintain weekly sales-funnel documentation in Salesforce
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, win-based proposals, and pricing
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Smile Digital Health solutions, target customers, and product capabilities
  • Meet or exceed company sales goals while delivering integrity, quality, and customer service
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation and proposal through contract negotiation, deal closure, and account management

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of progressive sales and closing expertise and quota-carrying experience with B2B software or technology sales
  • Experience dealing with long sales cycles and average deal values of $500K or more
  • Post-Secondary education in business or related field of study or comparable related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare industry drivers including providers, payers, and government agencies
  • Experience delivering complex client-focused solutions to meet customer needs
  • Experience consulting with varying levels of organizations including executives
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiating skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use Windows/Mac, Google Suite, and Salesforce (CRM)
