Job Description
Key Account Director growing strategic North American accounts for egg, an international events and experiences agency. Driving partnerships, revenue, negotiations, and client growth.
Responsibilities:
- Grow and develop strategic client accounts
- Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and drive revenue growth
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor throughout the client journey
- Turn newly won North American accounts into long-term partnerships by building trust at VP and C level
- Identify opportunities to grow existing work
- Lead account planning, commercial conversations and contract negotiations
- Balance client value with egg's commercial interests
- Develop new business opportunities in North America using egg's European and global client roster
- Work with Key Account Directors to create introductions and open new conversations
- Monitor account performance, financials and profitability
- Use data and insights to guide decisions and identify opportunities
- Help build egg's presence in North America
- Guide cross-functional teams and manage client relationships in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience managing and growing key client accounts within an event, experiential, communications or creative agency environment
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, profitability and contract negotiations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality
- Comfortable using data, insights and reporting to support client and commercial decisions
- Able to understand and manage a P&L, maintaining a good relationship with the Finance team
- Fluency in English
- Comfortable working across markets and cultures
