Job Description
Accountability and Curriculum Manager responsible for K-12 academic success and integrity in a virtual setting. Overseeing program development, curriculum design, and compliance with educational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of district-wide curriculum and instructional frameworks aligned to state standards.
- Develop long-term academic improvement plans using data, research, and stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate with school administrators to ensure consistent instructional expectations across grade levels and subject areas.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum across grade bands.
- Monitor implementation and provide coaching or corrective actions where needed.
- Ensure and manage district compliance with all federal, state, and local accountability requirements about Testing.
- Develop improvement plans that address academic gaps, instructional quality, and student growth.
- Ensure timely submission of all accountability documentation, assessments, accreditation materials, and state-required reports.
- Evaluate PD effectiveness using data and feedback.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education or related field.
- Valid North Carolina Administration certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of administration experience, preferably in a virtual or blended setting.
- Strong understanding of North Carolina state academic standards and accountability requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SIS/LMS platforms.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
