Job Description
General Accountant owning month-end close, reporting accuracy, and tax compliance. Supporting Nebius’s global AI cloud infrastructure business across U.S. entities.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete financial data
- Analyze variances, explain key movements, and monitor financial trends
- Support complex and non-routine transactions, including large deals, assessing their impact on local financials and coordinating with Tax and Legal teams
- Maintain and execute statutory and tax compliance activities, including Use/Sales tax, CIT, regulatory and statistical filings, financial statements, and local audits
- Maintain a clear compliance calendar
- Post and document statutory and tax adjustments in the ERP system
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across NetSuite and local reporting tools
- Coordinate with Tax, Legal, external consultants, and external auditors during audits and reviews
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting
- Experience in a Big Four firm is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Experience in multinational or multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with statutory and tax compliance processes
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
- Proficiency in English is required
