Responsibilities:
- Embed with strategic insurance customers to design and build high-impact applications and AI-powered workflows with Shift’s Multi-Agent solutions, from initial concept through production deployment
- Map insurance company claims workflows, define impact metrics and guardrails, and assess data, APIs, and systems for integration readiness
- Build and configure multi-agent workflows for carrier-specific processes and integrate them with core claims systems, data sources, and document repositories
- Run pilots on live claims, train adjusters and operations staff to work alongside agents, and move deployments into production
- Monitor agent accuracy and production performance; tune prompts, tools, and guardrails based on real outcomes

- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based and multi-agent systems, prompting, orchestration, memory, and production safeguards like guardrails and human-in-the-loop review
- Strong enterprise integration experience: APIs, databases, microservices, and unstructured document processing (OCR/parsing) against complex systems like claims or subrogation platforms (Guidewire, Arb. Forum)
- Proven ability to work embedded with a customer's IT and business teams, holding technical conversations, adapting in the room, and communicating tradeoffs clearly
- Comfort with startup ambiguity and travel (~50%) to carrier sites for discovery, deployment, and go-live
Benefits:
