A WBS é uma empresa baiana, fundada em julho de 1998, por quatro ex-funcionários da Promon Engenharia - o engenheiro mecânico Alberto Carvalho, o químico industrial Rivaldo Bôto, o engenheiro civil Rubens Frahia Bustani e o administrador de empresas André Luiz Perrone de Oliveira.
Inicialmente atendendo primordialmente a empresas da área química e petroquímica com base no Polo Petroquímico de Camaçari, na Bahia, hoje mantem uma carteira de clientes que inclui grandes nomes como a Petrobras, Transpetro, Samarco (MG), Braskem, Copesul, CNO,a Petroquímica Paulínia (SP), e a Petroquímica União - PQU (SP), entre outras.
Atualmente possui filiais nos municípios baianos de Camaçari, São Francisco do Conde e Candeias, além de São Paulo e bases operacionais em Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Santa Catarina e Rio Grande do Sul.
